Last Thursday, June 25, the León Center presented the musical gathering The music of Luis Días. The musicians Miguel Mañaná, Manuel Tejada and Juan Francisco Ordóñez participated moderated by Tommy García, as part of the initiative León Home Center.

Miguel Mañaná, of the musical group Invitation, recalled the beginnings of this band in 1972, which with the incorporation of Días develops a fundamental musical experience based on the folkloric richness of the country's music. Mañaná, a Dominican resident in Mexico, also commented on the tours of the country collecting musical material, studying the rhythms with peasant cultists. Manuel Tejada, of the group Madora, He related the moments he shared with Días and the rest of his colleagues after the disappearance of Invitation. Juan Francisco Ordoñez, from the Urban transport, appreciated the versatility of Dias in Dominican fusion music. In his opinion, Luis Días is the most authentic composer in the Dominican Republic.
