Inconsistent times

A question that could be unsubstantial or unnecessary would be:

When did contemporary art start? When we talk about the contemporary in Dominican art, we are facing a dilemma of historical periodization and ways of telling history. And if that story is told with the established linear parameters used by traditional science, then we will find a story, by far, circular. For that same lack of fruits of the exercise is that I am going to allow myself to name several key moments in the development of contemporary sayings that could contribute to establishing that genealogy.
