Identity Signs Exhibition

Category: Identity Signs

It is presented in the Anthropology Room that is located on the first level. It is a multisensory journey through various aspects that are reflected in Dominicanness, understood within its Caribbean, American and global context. It gathers in six moments a trajectory that begins with the emergence of the island and that culminates with the confrontation of a multicultural present. The island and the contrasts of the Caribbean, biodiversity, indigenous ways of life, miscegenation, the Creole and the predominance of the current urban culture are represented with a coherent and avant-garde museographic language.
