Anthropological Collection

Brass lantern in the center has a recessed glass screen of good thickness, to multiply the beam of light and to prevent it from breaking easily. On the lower front part it has an inscription on two small plates that reads the following: AHLEMANNT SCHALHATTER BREMEN METALL WARENTABRIIK, AND 6065. The glass has in the upper and lower parts three channels of high relief as decoration. In the upper part it has a handle and on both sides of the back part a door to introduce the lamp. On the other side it has a support to be hooked on a wall or pole.

Curious fact:

This type of lantern was used in lamp lighting in the city of Santiago at the end of the XXIV century.
