The corner of an old room presents part of its furniture, as old as the building that houses them. The whole house is made of wood and you can see part of the floor and the walls of slats with detached paint. The corner is occupied by the domestic furniture typical of old rooms in areas intended for personal hygiene: a chair with turned parts in thin balusters, seat and part of the back in straw; a vintage ewer furniture on three curved legs, with the bottom part for the basin and which holds a white enameled metal basin on the top. Next to this piece of furniture, a chamber pot made of the same material rests on the floor.
A ewer like the one that can be seen in this photograph of Wifredo García, is exhibited in the 4 Resolve field creating: When the need is put to design, of the exhibition that is currently presented in the María Asensio de León temporary exhibition hall: With hands and head: Crafts as a constant creative. This exhibition will remain open to the public until the 20 of July of the current year.
Wifredo García has been one of the Dominican photographers who with more interest studied through photography, with an anthropological look at the Dominican identity.
