The photographic image shows the panoramic view of the act of swearing in to Colonel Francisco Alberto Caamaño Deñó, as constitutional president of the Dominican Republic, held at the Puerta de El Conde, in the city of Santo Domingo. In the photographic composition, several banners are observed in support of the new Constitutional President. In the image, towards the right center, the Constitutionalist soldiers are seen, who raise their arms as a sign of support.

Curious fact:

After the coup d'état made to Professor Juan Bosch the 25 of September of 1963, the country went through different phases of government, one of which was the Constitutionalist Government, which was characterized by promoting the return of Professor Juan Bosch to power and the Constitution of 1963.
