Leon Center Collections

Installation composed, in the first place, by a series of notebooks that are the result of the artist's privacy, a kind of personal diary that she has carried for years in which she has turned everyday experiences and situations into an exercise that has meant an exploration of itself and current society; notebooks that were never raised show. In the second place, it integrates a series of paintings and drawings that, in the words of the artist, represent daily life and diversity.

The title of this work, which translates as The great pod, comes from the multiplicity of possible meanings that the word has for the Dominican sheath.
