About the Author:

Alexander Morel has been a photography professor at St. John University and Rutgers University. He was also hired by the Pan American Health Organization to create a bank of images illustrating the living conditions of the Haitian people. His work has been exhibited in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, the United States, Russia, among others.
