Rosa Tavárez: Contemporary Dialogues of the León Center

The activity was carried out in coordination with the Dominican Association of Visual Artists.

In a meeting with artists, art critics and interested public, Rosa Tavárez, 2017 National Visual Arts Prize and Dominican artist, spoke about her trajectory and experiences in the visual arts in the Contemporary Dialogues space at Centro León.

"Artists have the ability to transform," said Tavarez.

The winner of the 2017 National Visual Arts Award, said that "Physics and chemistry are two of the things that bring me the most".

During the meeting the Dominican Association of Visual Artists, recognized as an Honorary Member the Dominican artist Rosa Tavárez, National Visual Arts Award 2017.

The activity carried out in coordination with the Dominican Association of Visual Artists was carried out in the Plazoleta of the Salon Multipurpose Center León.

The Contemporary Dialogues are a monthly meeting that the Dominican Association of Visual Artists takes place at the León Center from January 2018. These sessions allow to talk about different topics related to the visual arts.

The next meeting will be next Saturday 3 March at Centro León, with gallery owner and manager Juan José Mesa, who will address the theme of Art and Market.
